- Currently, I am the associate director of development for Lutheran Services of Georgia. In bringing hope, healing and strength to hurting people in Georgia, part of my responsibities include assistance in managing multiple fundraising events and marketing projects that include Atlanta Golf Classic, Savannah Golf Outing, Heroes of Hope and Hunger walk.
Graduating from Clark Atanta University in 2004, I aid our development department in generating and managing over $400,000.00 through assistance in overseeing special events, managing our grant's calendar, and assisting in our annual fund campaign.
Originally for California, I also was the volunteer manager for Atlanta Union Mission. In serving the homeless and those addicted to substance abuse, I yearly managed 2,500 volunteers while developing and nurturing partnerships with local, prominent corporations and churches.
My professional aspirations involve acquiring substantive fundraising experience to support causes that provide a valuable service to the community. This involves gaining a thorough understanding of standard protocol of attracting and retaining supporters as well as increasing my personal and professional network. Within the next five years, I seek to have a thorough understanding of the fundraising cycle through gaining experience in the industry, obtaining my CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) and working towards with a master’s degree in finance.
